The Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival is the culinary highlight at the Sandperle Restaurant. Since 2012 we are part of it and every year we can look forward to extraordinary guest chefs who conjure up a 5-course gala menu together with our kitchen crew. Guest chef this time is **Michael Kempf, kitchen director restaurant “Facil” at the Mandala Hotel Berlin.

At least a dozen times, the smart stove champion has been a guest chef at the Gourmet Festival in Schleswig-Holstein. Finally, Michael Kempf thrilled the guests with an imaginative menu – even the vegetarian course with black salsify and truffle was to die for. The 2-star chef from the elegant Berlin restaurant ‘Facil’ spoils his guests with subtle creations that are light and sometimes surprising compositions. The team player began his career at the ‘Romantik Hotel Kleber Post’ in Bad Saulgau before learning about high cuisine from top chefs like Dieter Müller. The passionate runner has “animating feel-good cuisine” at heart; you leave his restaurant exhilarated, never satiated.
